Stephen Morris is a Professor of Law and Political Studies at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. He has served as chairman of the Chester County Election Commission since 2009, and this is his second term as West Tennessee Vice President of TACEO.
After graduating with a B.A. and J.D. from the University of Mississippi, Stephen practiced law in Tupelo for twelve years before joining the faculty at FHU. In addition to teaching, he is a program coordinator, academic advisor, and sponsor of the College Republicans and Law Society. Stephen serves as an elder for the Henderson church of Christ and is active in Civitans and Scouting. He has been married to Joyce for 30 years, and they have two grown children.
